Hi, I'm Jesse a wedding, engagement, portrait, and lifestyle photographer out of Ekalaka, Montana!

I was born and raised in Stokes County, North Carolina on a tobacco and cattle farm, with a passion for agriculture that is instilled in me. I didn’t always know that I wanted to be a photographer, but there is not a time when i can't recall not having a camera with me. My journey took me through the school norm to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in agriculture education and weed science. I have always loved to help, observe, and listen to people. I always thought I would either be a school teacher. But life has different plans than the one you plan out. I took a job in college working in weed science and several years later moved from North Carolina to Montana and ended up as a Noxious Weed Coordinator (fancy way of saying I spray invasive and noxious weeds) which is a passion of mine.

I received my first "BIG GIRL" camera for Christmas one year and started to take photographs of what made me happy (family, holidays, friends, life on the farm, etc.). However somewhere along the line my passion for photography grew and I wanted to capture the moments and memories of life for people, and document America's agriculture.

Even though photography is not my fulltime job and I'm still learning. I am self taught and crave learning how to make my photography better, I strongly believe when you stop wanting to learn you lose your passion. I love where my photography has taken me today. It’s the small things in life that matter the most.
